Fred and Shirley have been the most accommodating, compassionate yet incredibly professional people to have walking beside us in this time of loss. Light and refreshing when needed and yet down to earth and serious when it mattered. They have made the journey bearable and stress free where they are able to and carried the load when they could. They treated Graham/Dad with dignity and respect and cared for him well when we entrusted them with his care. Whilst no-one enjoys going through this aspect of life/death, we can’t think of anyone we would rather have journeying with us at this time.

“Everything about the funeral that was handled by you was really beautifully done. The bush flowers on the coffin were exquisite, the coffin was very appropriate, the booklet was perfect and everything went very very well in the service. The first song started with a bit of a hiccup but it was fixed very quickly and gave everything a light hearted approach. ‘K’ always said that nothing for him ever went completely right as there was always a little something that had to be fixed or sorted so it seemed very appropriate for him and he would have thought so too if he was there?? I am still telling my friends how quickly I was able to arrange the funeral service with Fred and so easy. Within a couple of hours of my brother, Hedley, dying on 30 September, Fred had arranged a service, removal of the body and refreshments after the service at 10 am on 1 October at Gunther Village Nursing Home, Gayndah, with the approval of the Manager, Bruce.
