Coffins
The price and style of a coffin can vary based on several factors, including construction materials, craftsmanship, and finishing touches. At our funeral home, we offer a diverse range of coffin options to accommodate different preferences and budgets.
Our coffins are categorized into three main types:
- Solid Timber Coffins: Crafted from high-quality materials such as plantation radiata pine, cedar, camphor laurel, and New Guinea rosewood, these coffins boast exquisite details such as carved panelling and tiered lid designs. Each coffin in this range is meticulously hand-polished with a premium lacquer finish, ensuring a sophisticated and elegant appearance.
- Timber Veneer Coffins: Made from medium-density fibreboard with a real pine timber veneer, these coffins offer the appearance of solid timber at a more affordable price point. They retain the aesthetic appeal of solid wood while providing cost-effective options for families.
- Paper Veneer Coffins: Featuring simpler designs and finishes, these coffins are constructed with an MDF substrate covered by a thin sheet of paper printed with a wood grain effect. The simulated timber appearance is then lacquered, painted, or left unpolished, providing a budget-friendly alternative with a natural look.
Cemetery Charges
These charges are set by individual cemeteries and remain consistent across funeral companies.
